The T+A MP 200 Multi Source Player is designed to deliver exceptional versatility in a compact, elegant component. Built to support a wide variety of audio sources, it brings together CD playback, radio reception, streaming services, Bluetooth connectivity, and network audio in one sophisticated unit.

From classic FM broadcasts to modern high-resolution streaming, the MP 200 is engineered to make the most of every source. It supports FM, FM-HD, and DAB+ radio, while also allowing seamless streaming from mobile devices and network storage. External digital sources can also benefit from the player’s advanced signal-processing capabilities, ensuring high-quality audio performance across all inputs.

While the MP 200 can be used with many DACs, it is designed to work particularly well with Series 200 components, such as the DAC 200 and HA 200. Through the T+A SYS Link, control data and audio signals can be exchanged efficiently, enabling the MP 200 to serve as the central control unit for a complete system when paired with the T+A MusicNavigator App.

Radio & CD Playback

In addition to Internet radio streaming, the MP 200 offers multiple radio reception options, including FM, FM-HD, and DAB+. High sensitivity and carefully engineered signal processing contribute to impressive sound quality from traditional radio sources, whether signals are received via antenna or cable.

For physical media enthusiasts, the MP 200 features an integrated slot-loading CD mechanism designed specifically for its compact chassis. With fast access times and advanced error-correction technology, the drive delivers reliable playback with minimal delay once a disc is inserted.

Digital Inputs

The MP 200 also accommodates external digital devices with a range of input options. The digital interface includes two S/PDIF inputs and one optical input, allowing easy connection to sources such as set-top boxes, disc transports, or digital media players. A S/PDIF output is also available, with signal processing handled at high-definition audio quality.

App Control & User Interface

Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to the T+A MusicNavigator App, available for both iOS and Android devices. The app allows users to control every aspect of the MP 200, including streaming services, radio stations, and system settings for connected components.

On the device itself, the Series 200 front panel combines direct-access buttons with a rotary jog dial, offering convenient and ergonomic control directly from the unit.

Streaming Client & Bluetooth

The MP 200 features a high-performance streaming platform, developed in-house to meet demanding audio standards. The streaming client supports LAN, WLAN, and USB Master Mode, enabling access to popular streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, and Deezer, as well as Internet radio stations.

For local music libraries, the system can stream files from network servers at resolutions up to 192 kHz / 24-bit. Streaming services and radio stations are conveniently managed through the Airable service, which organizes and maintains streaming directories automatically.

Wireless playback is also supported through Bluetooth with aptX HD™, allowing compatible mobile devices to transmit high-quality audio. This technology enables improved wireless performance, even when playing high-resolution audio formats such as FLAC.
