Furutech Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF)
Furutech’s proprietary Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF) is an advanced material technology incorporated into select Furutech products to enhance both electrical and mechanical performance.
NCF is formulated with a unique crystalline material that offers two “active” properties:
- Generates negative ions to help eliminate static buildup
- Converts thermal energy into far-infrared energy
Furutech further enhances this compound by combining it with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder. These additions contribute piezoelectric damping characteristics, helping to reduce unwanted resonance and vibration.
The result is a highly effective damping material engineered to address both electrical noise and mechanical energy within audio components. NCF is exclusive to Furutech products and plays a key role in their approach to signal purity and noise reduction.
Furutech Formula GC-303
Formula GC-303 is another specialized material used in select Furutech designs. It is bonded to the interior bottom plate of the chassis, where it works to absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by the unit’s internal components.
Rather than relying on traditional filtering methods that can introduce resistance, Furutech utilizes GC-303 to manage internally generated noise while maintaining minimal AC impedance. By keeping resistance low and controlling interference at the source, components can operate with greater transparency and dynamic expression.
