Elevating vinyl playback with precision engineering
Crafted through a collaboration with acclaimed audio engineer Peter Madnick—whose work has shaped some of the finest components in high-end audio—the MasterPhono is a premium, all-analog phono preamplifier designed for true vinyl enthusiasts. Engineered with the goal of capturing the sonic character of legendary MFSL vinyl reissues, this unit delivers exceptional clarity, depth, and detail. Whether you’re rediscovering your record collection or fine-tuning a reference-level system, the MasterPhono offers a listening experience that honors the original recording with stunning fidelity.
Versatile inputs, infinite soundscapes
What sets the MasterPhono apart is its incredible versatility. Featuring both balanced and single-ended outputs along with dedicated inputs, it’s built to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of high-performance audio systems. User-configurable settings are easily accessible through its intuitive front panel controls, making setup and fine-tuning a breeze. The classic analog meters proudly reflect the unit’s deep analog roots, while a built-in USB port ensures compatibility with future software updates—blending timeless design with modern flexibility.
Precise input flexibility
The MasterPhono offers two distinct input modes to suit a wide range of phono cartridges. Choose the standard “Voltage Input” via RCA or XLR for traditional setups, or opt for the innovative “Current Input” mode—designed specifically for low source-impedance cartridges. This advanced option employs Trans-impedance Dynamic Loading technology, unlocking greater detail and musicality from select cartridge types for an optimized, high-fidelity listening experience.
Perfect loading
The ideal match for your phono cartridge with ten selectable impedance loading settings, ensuring optimal performance and sonic accuracy. For added flexibility, a rear-panel RCA input labeled “Custom” allows for user-defined loading—giving audiophiles full control to fine-tune their setup to perfection.
Dual function vu meters
Dual meters can be used for monitoring or calibration of cartridge azimuth.
