Advanced Connector Construction with NCF Technology
A key feature of this cable is the use of Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF) within the connector housing. The multi-material hybrid shell incorporates Furutech’s proprietary NCF material, engineered to help reduce static buildup and minimize electrical and mechanical resonance.
This specialized construction helps lower unwanted noise and vibration that can affect signal transmission. The result is improved clarity and stability in both audio and video signals, potentially contributing to better detail, enhanced color vibrancy, and deeper background contrast.
How NCF Technology Works
NCF (Nano Crystal² Formula) is based on a crystalline material developed by Furutech with two key active properties:
- Static reduction: Generates negative ions that help neutralize static electricity.
- Energy conversion: Converts thermal energy into far-infrared energy.
To further enhance damping performance, the material is combined with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder. These elements add piezoelectric damping characteristics, helping absorb and dissipate micro-vibrations that may otherwise interfere with signal integrity.
