Vibration isolation is critical to achieving maximum performance with a vinyl setup. A spring (or in this case reverse spring, suspension) is the most effective mechanical vibration isolator in existence. Turntables are prone to external vibration influence from bass frequencies in your music, as well as internal vibration from the mechanical nature of a turntable.

HiFiStay’s Gyrotension footers are adjustable for maximum attenuation of vibration throughout the frequency range. When you try a set you’ll hear the difference in your music, after you’ve removed all that unwanted energy.

Each Gyrotension assembly has three cereballs isolating the base, height-adjustable top plates and an array of silicon suspension bands. The silicon bands have a weight capacity of nearly .5 lbs each. The load capacity for a footer can be precisely fine-tuned to the nearest half pound, thus fully maximizing the isolation performance.

• Spring isolators require a different set of footers for each load range, whereas the Gyrotension can be fine tuned for any weight throughout the entire load capacity.
