Powered by Klaudio’s advanced 45-pole brushless direct motor, the Magnezar turntable delivers exceptionally quiet performance with wow levels as low as 0.02–0.05% and precise speed control within ±1/1000 RPM. Its user-friendly design requires no manual adjustments—simply press a button to start or stop playback. An electromagnetic brake brings the platter to a halt in just a few seconds. The motor’s architecture is ingeniously built into both the plinth (stator) and the platter (rotor), ensuring smooth, stable, and highly accurate operation.
Heavy Magnetically Levitated Platter
This innovative turntable design incorporates a substantial 29 lb (13.2 kg) platter that is fully magnetically levitated—eliminating the need for a traditional thrust bearing. Recognized as a groundbreaking achievement for a platter of this weight, the magnetic system provides exceptional smoothness and stability. Instead of relying on conventional cushioned feet, the design uses a single, highly effective damping cushion that helps maintain balance while absorbing unwanted vibrations for improved audio clarity.
