Note: The PP-Mono is a specialized cartridge, and does not include a trial period.
After the long development period, Phasemation successfully created the ultimate harmony of tonal balance in a monaural cartridge. The PP-Mono was released with Phasemation’s 10th anniversary as the culmination of cartridge development for more than a decade.
The appearance and material of the magneto system were newly designed for high efficiency and high resolution within the monaural format. The aluminum cantilever is both light and strong for excellent tracing capability of a monaural signal. The result is a level of musicality and feeling that’s difficult for conventional monaural cartridges.
The body material was reformulated to stainless material and duralumin for the best balance of sound quality. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon)* coating improves rigidity and vibration-damping properties to produce maximum detail.
* DLC?Diamond Like Carbon?is a carbon film produced with vapor phase synthesis from ion processing. The high rigidity and high electric insulation are similar to that of a diamond coating.
The PP-Mono inherits materials from the PP-1000, samarium-cobalt magnets, a magneto coil made of 6N oxygen-free copper wire, and a pure iron coil bobbin.

“This is a great cable ! Love your turntable rig but hate your computer audio setup because it sounds dry, flat and uninvolving ? Curious Cables will have you sorted out in no time.”
