The signal grounds on your various HiFi and AV Components may conform to a number of less-than-ideal practices. At a basic level still adhered to by many manufacturers, chassis ground is the same as safety ground and is the same as signal ground. But on some equipment chassis ground does not equal safety ground and on much equipment, the signal ground is lifted from chassis ground. Of course, connecting two components, say via RCA, one item where the three grounds are unified to another component where they are not, will result in that second component having its signal ground united with safety ground, etc. And through the interconnection of all signals leads to a haphazard confusion of circulating signal grounds is created.

Route Master reorganizes this tangled web in a coherent fashion bringing all ground signals to earth via the shortest route to a single star point inside of a noise-reducing ferro-electric chamber, creating a stable and fixed horizon for all components to navigate from.

Ultra Ground Connects

Optimally adjusted cables provide the most sonically desirable routing to the ground point. 99.99% oxygen-free copper conductors optimized dielectrics and extreme flexibility avoiding vibration distortions, available in a wide range of terminations.

Route Master provides the shortest and most coherent route to a common star grounding point for all of the components that form audio or audiovisual systems and may be used on its own to provide a central “star” connected point for the signal ground of all connected components. Internally a strategic array of nodes direct residual noise into its ferro-electric core where it is turned into harmless heat. Ultimate results are achieved by connecting the “star” position to the Puritan Ground Master, whereby not only are all earthing circuits bonded in a uniform and tidy manner, but the noise on this common earth is further substantially reduced.

If it is not possible to install an actual earthing rod for the Ground Master, you can still achieve excellent results by using the Ground Master City model which simply plugs into an available wall socket and provides a highly cleansed additional grounding connection to the star point.

Component connections to the Route Master are done by Ultra Ground Connects, available with these connectors: RCA, XLR (Male), USB-A, RJ45, Spade, and RCA Loop (a loop around the RCA jack, so you can still plug in an RCA cable).
