Incredible analog sound from a digital source
Designed to deliver the ultimate analog sound from a digital source, the SCD-025 Mk.II is a true audiophile-grade component. Inspired by the natural warmth and musicality of high-end turntables, this player sets a new benchmark for “musical” digital audio performance.
Far more than just a CD player, the SCD-025 Mk.II is a versatile digital hub. Equipped with USB, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF inputs, it seamlessly integrates with your system to become the centerpiece of your high-fidelity setup.
Custom technology to meet strict requirements
The SCD-025 Mk.II is engineered for precision and exceptional sound quality, starting with the Philips CD Pro 2 LF drive. Stripped down to its core components and meticulously rebuilt, this approach minimizes errors in reading disc information and reduces reliance on the error correction system for an unparalleled listening experience.
Advanced sample rate conversion technology ensures jitter is virtually eliminated, achieving an impressive 384kHz sample rate with the state-of-the-art Engineered Q8 module. The analog stage, derived from high-performance amplifier designs, delivers outstanding tonal purity and detail.
Power supply design is crucial to this unit’s performance, featuring four separate supplies: one for the drive, one for the digital stage, and dedicated left and right channels for the analog stage. This thoughtful separation significantly lowers the noise floor, creating a signature “black background” that highlights every musical nuance.
The SCD-025 Mk.II redefines digital audio, bringing a warm, natural, and truly musical performance to your setup.
Finishing
The SCD-025 Mk.II is available in stunning standard finishes, including Pure White, Jet Black, and Warm Silver, to complement any audio setup. For those seeking a more distinctive look, popular custom finishes like Titanium Orange, Dark Champagne, and Titanium Grey offer a bold and elegant touch.
Reviews
Highfidelity
“I wish more designers knew how to create such a fantastic sound sources. A design and its features and performance came together creating a Player one can spend his entire life with. It’s ironic that it was released so late, when CD format is at the verge of sliding into a small market niche next to ones of vinyl record and SACD. But that’s life. I hope some people will still be willing to keep CD alive for many more years. But even if the end of CD format is close it’s worth spending the time we have left experiencing qualities of CD using such a brilliant Players as SCD-025. Even more so considering that it features also digital inputs, including USB that allows user to use a computer or music server as a source and expect a similar performance.”

Product Description
Enleum AMP-23R Reference Compact Integrated Amplifier
The Enleum AMP‑23R Integrated Amplifier represents the next step in the evolution of Enleum’s acclaimed compact amplifier design. Building on the worldwide success of the Enleum AMP‑13R Integrated Amplifier, this new model introduces refined circuitry and enhanced engineering to push performance even further.
Highly regarded for its exceptional sound quality and distinctive design, the earlier AMP-13R set a high benchmark among compact high-end amplifiers. With the AMP-23R, Enleum advances that legacy with a newly developed circuit architecture and significantly refined PCB layout, optimized down to the smallest detail for improved performance and stability.
Despite the internal upgrades, the amplifier retains the same compact footprint as its predecessor. An all-new chassis and improved thermal heatsink design help ensure efficient heat management and long-term reliability while maintaining the elegant, minimalist aesthetic. The amplifier’s distinctive industrial design has also received international recognition, including the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021, highlighting Enleum’s commitment to both engineering and design excellence.
Essence Circuit – The Core of Enleum Technology
At the heart of the AMP-23R is Enleum’s newly developed Essence Circuit, a technology that reflects years of research and experience from earlier designs.
This advanced circuit features:
- All discrete transistor architecture
- Zero negative feedback design
- Ultra-fast response with extremely wide bandwidth
These technologies are integrated into a compact module known as Essence, positioned at the input stage of the amplifier. The module processes incoming music signals with exceptional precision before delivering them to the output stage through a highly accurate attenuator that sets the amplifier’s gain while maintaining signal purity.
Minimalist Design with Precision Engineering
Enleum’s design philosophy focuses on simplicity, purity, and precision. Every element of the AMP-23R is engineered to eliminate unnecessary complexity while maximizing performance and aesthetic elegance.
Through years of expertise in precision metalwork and industrial design, Enleum has created an amplifier that combines advanced technology, refined craftsmanship, and striking minimalist design—resulting in a compact reference amplifier that stands out in the high-end audio world.
Note: Reaching the recommended burn-in time is essential with this product. Also, the Enleum amp has a very linear bass, whereas some amps have more boost in the bass frequencies, so this is an amp for purists, but not for bass-heads.

“The original remains my all-time favorite small speaker amp and very best HifiMan Susvara driver. I was most eager to hear what the same design team’s first effort under their new Enleum flag had crafted.”

Sound News – Gold Award
“No matter from what angle I’m looking at, AMP-23R stood out as a better sounding unit, winning top points on 6 out of 7 tests and proving that specs aren’t always that important.”
“I’ve heard plenty of great sounding solid-state amplifiers by now, but none of them were crawling under my skin as soon as music started doing its mojo. Its different working principle was felt immediately. My tunes were revitalized, freed from any limitations, transients were riding a roller-coaster as if a (much) bigger amplifier was pushing and pulling them around.”
