Product Description
Townshend Audio products are imported from the United Kingdom and are designed by Max Townshend, one of the most innovative designers in the industry. We never bought into the concept of speaker isolation until we tried Townshend’s speaker isolation devices in our own reference system.
The Townshend spring mechanisms are vastly more effective at absorbing vibration than bearing or point devices (speaker spikes actually facilitate transmission). A substantial amount of vibration energy is absorbed into the spring-loaded isolation devices, which not only lessens the amount of sound transferred into the floor below but the energy loading your listening space is gone, giving your music ease and freedom…bass and treble frequencies tighten up and yield more definition from top to bottom.
Townshend Seismic Isolation Podiums are made with impressive build quality and attention to detail. Speakers can be oriented in either direction, giving you flexibility for each platform size with different speakers and Jaguar clients can order additional sets of isolation pods to enable different capacity ranges.
