Introduced to mark the 20th anniversary of Phasemation, the Phasemation PP‑5000 represents a milestone model within the company’s lineup of high-end phono cartridges. Developed from two decades of research and engineering, this flagship moving-coil cartridge is designed to deliver exceptional resolution, precise imaging, and powerful bass performance for serious vinyl enthusiasts.
A standout element of the PP-5000 is its diamond cantilever, an advanced design choice that helps improve vibration transmission speed and allows the cartridge to capture greater levels of musical detail. This contributes to a wider sense of space, improved soundstage accuracy, and more refined reproduction of subtle musical nuances.

Diamond Cantilever
The cartridge features a diamond cantilever—an innovative implementation within the Phasemation lineup. Its high rigidity and fast propagation characteristics support improved signal transmission from the stylus to the generator system.
Optimized Vibration System
A redesigned vibration structure helps improve trackability, allowing the stylus to follow groove modulations with high precision and stability.
Precision-Mounted Diamond Stylus
The stylus uses a natural diamond tip mounted with extremely tight tolerances. The refined mounting angle, controlled to approximately ±3 degrees, helps maintain accurate groove contact for detailed playback.
Refined Magnetic Circuit
An advanced polishing process is used in the magnetic circuit to improve field uniformity. This helps the cartridge reproduce extremely small signal variations, contributing to enhanced spatial expression and musical detail.
High-Rigidity Body Construction
