As Air Tight approaches its 35th anniversary, the highly anticipated new 211 single-monaural power amplifier, the ATM-2211, is set to launch.

Designed with precision, this amplifier boosts output to 32W and employs a fixed bias method with DC ignition for the filament, ensuring superior audio performance. Independent power transformers for high and low voltage ensure optimal performance, while a specially crafted choke coil enhances sound quality with clear sound staging and dynamic low range. The high-output transformer from Hashimoto Electric Co., Ltd. further improves low-frequency response for a richer audio experience.

This meticulously designed and expertly engineered amplifier is built to deliver exceptional sound and reliability. Utilizing AirTight’s renowned monocoque construction, the chassis design effectively controls resonance and enhances the amplifier’s mechanical strength. The addition of a thick, pure copper sub-chassis provides robust support for the main amplification board and power supply section, which houses a large block capacitor for optimal performance. This chassis features an innovative structure, ensuring superior electrical conductivity by pressing the electrical bus directly into the chassis. The front panel is crafted from a substantial aluminum block, adding to the amplifier’s durability and aesthetic appeal. Premium loudspeaker terminals from WBT of Germany offer separate high (8Ω) and low (4Ω) output, with an optional factory setting for 16Ω. The input terminal offers versatile connectivity with selectable RCA and XLR options.

To ensure the longevity and protection of your equipment, a built-in timer relay activates upon powering on, applying plate voltage with a slight delay. This feature protects the output tube and extends the life of the smoothing capacitors in the power supply section. With the 211 tubes operating at very high voltage, only the highest quality parts have been chosen to withstand these conditions and ensure long-term reliability.
