• With the innovative MEZZO G3, tweeter phase correction is achieved through a unique rotary mechanism. This allows precise adjustment of the tweeter’s position, forward or backward, based on the listener’s position. A knob on the cabinet’s top enables effortless tweaking for optimal balance between the listener, tweeter, and midrange.

The passive crossover incorporates cutting-edge technological advancements, including the SphericLowCut filter, AirGate technology, and PolarizationPlus circuit, establishing new standards in innovation. These advancements are paired with premium-quality components. Crafted in Germany with meticulous care, the NatureCapPlus capacitor features a sophisticated design with special foil electrodes and a cellulose fiber compound dielectric impregnated with organic oils. Compared to the previous XD series capacitors, the NatureCapPlus is approximately 25 times larger and securely mounted to the circuit board with specially manufactured brackets.

XB12 bass driver

Introducing a revolutionary bass concept crafted exclusively for the MEZZO G3. In comparison to its predecessor, the voice coil diameter is increased from 100mm to 153mm, creating a robust 6-inch motor structure. This upgrade delivers impressive force factor and power handling while substantially reducing thermal compression. Meticulously crafted, the motor structure consists of two high-quality magnets magnetized in Europe’s largest 200,000-volt facility. With a significant voice coil, it efficiently transfers the power of the permanent magnet with a 1.15 Tesla flux density to a circumference of 480mm—a remarkable 50% increase from the previous model.

The XB12 employs low-carbon steel pole plates, meticulously crafted for peak performance. Its spider features a patented dynamic profile with a progressive surround design, ensuring exceptional linearity even at maximum diaphragm excursion. The surround, crafted from low-loss NBR (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber), enables swift and accurate transient response. Crafted from a blend of long-fiber paper and carbon fiber, the diaphragm is exceptionally sturdy and resistant to torsion, allowing for precise pistonic excursion during transients and decay. The XB12’s SingleFrame chassis boasts robust die-cast aluminum cantilevers, enclosing the magnet for a solid material bond around the moving parts of the motor structure. The active subwoofer within the MEZZO G3 is driven by the G3-1000 power module, a fully integrated power amplifier delivering 1,000 watts of power, providing ample headroom for detailed EQ settings. Speaker-level input terminals are included for direct connection to integrated amplifiers or power amplifiers. Additionally, XLR connectors are available for line-level inputs. The signal tap features high impedance, balanced, and transformer-coupled characteristics, with a floating circuit ground to eliminate hum and simplify connection to balanced and bridged amplifier designs. All electronics benefit from state-of-the-art E-Fuse circuit protection, ensuring rapid and secure fusing while optimizing sound quality compared to conventional fuses.
