While the AMP-13R has been praised all around the world for its utmost performance and unique design, we have pushed our boundaries to create the new AMP-23R with a new circuit that further enhances the existing performance. And we have also drastically improved the PCB circuit board artwork down to the most minute details.
The AMP-23R’s physical size and footprint are identical to the AMP-13R, but with the all-new chassis and thermal heatsink design, we’re launching a product that’s fit for the next generation reference compact amplifier. The unique design was again awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021. The AMP-23R proudly showcases Enleum’s expertise in technology and design.
Ensence : Essence of enleum
The AMP-23R’s newly developed Essence Circuit was born from years of expertise acquired from previous-generation technologies. Now with a completely new and advanced PCB artwork, the circuit employs all discrete transistors with zero negative feedback and features an ultra-fast and ultra-wide frequency response. All these advanced technologies are concentrated into a compact module, called “Essence” which takes its important role at the input of the amplifier.
The Essence module then delivers its incoming music signals to output circuits through a precise attenuator that sets the lossless amplification factor, or gain.

Our design is focused on perfection with minimalistic originality and beauty, excluding all unnecessary elements in the development process. And as a result, our products have made a solid mark on the audio industry. Note: Reaching the recommended burn-in time is essential with this product. Also, the Enleum amp has a very linear bass, whereas some amps have more boost in the bass frequencies, so this is an amp for purists, but not for bass-heads.

I purchased this amp specifically for use with headphones that didn’t last. To my experience this is the best solid state amplifier I have ever heard – not only with the Susvara (the pairing is exceptional), but with the Abyss Diana, Final D8000 Pro, Sennheiser HD800S, and the Fostex TH900. My DAC is Holo Spring 3 KTE and source is a M1 Mac Mini with a FLAC, DSD and Apple Music Library. The amp plays all with ease but shows enough mercy to still enjoy your lessor quality music.
The sound the Amp-23R produces is transportive, it’s not just the power but the musicality in my sound chain, When paired with the Susvara the realism is spectacular. It’s very neutral and only gives you what was in the source material – there is no artificial coloring of any kind. With the Susvara dynamics are first rate with the most note worthy being in the bass section where it is often covered by push or muddy presentation not here it’s clean, detailed with a satisfying presence.
This five kilo beauty has a build quality and sense of heft not often found in audio equipment at any price. I didn’t have an opportunity to demo it before I purchased it, so the 45 day in home trial was comforting. That said – I’m so glad I purchased this special amp. I was so impressed with this amplifier I added a set if Falcon LS3/5A Gold Badge speakers to my set up. Every hour I listen to this amp it’s sound just open up.

I, like many others, bought this amp specifically for use with headphones. In short, it’s the best solid state headphone amp I have ever tried – not only with the Susvara (the pairing is exceptional), but with the Abyss TC, Audeze LCD-5 and LCD-4. My DAC is a Chord Dave + Mscaler and source is a Lumin U1. The amp easily plays at the same level of this digital front end.
It’s amazing that such a small box produces so much power – especially with the notoriously difficult load of the Susvara. But on high gain, I am never past 9-10 o’clock and it is LOUD. More importantly the sound combines a tubey liquidness with lightning fast speed – which really make warmer headphones like the LCD-4 and Susvara wake up. That said, it’s very neutral and true to the source – there is no artifical brightness of any kind. With the Susvara especially, bass, microdynamics and macrodynamics are first rate – which, I have found, are the best way to tell that the headphone is being powered to its optimum.
It’s beautifully built and incredibly solid. I didn’t have an opportunity to demo it before I purchased it, so the home trial was comforting. That said – I’m so glad I did. It’s really a special amp. I can only imagine how it sounds with speakers and am considering some efficient monitors to try it out.
