“I heard it primarily as more specific soundstaging especially with front-to-back sorting. There was greater organizational clarity for the overall structure of imaging. When focusing on what made it so, I saw higher microdynamic contrast. With it the difference between space made audible by very low-level recorded reflections aka reverb and the sounds themselves arising in said space was more marked. It’s casually referred to as higher image pop.”

OK. I hesitate whenever the word “crystals” are used in part of a technical explanation. Hesitation ignored, I dropped the entry fee on this product and haven’t looked back. I installed it in the empty a.c. Socket in the wall shared with my power conditioner for my rig. Hardware in use: mac Mini front end, Denafrip Ares II dac, Schiit Vali II as preamp for speaker listening (otherwise headphone amp for cans), Ideal Innovations Elite 80 tube amp. Yes, I heard an improvement immediately. Just as important, waf fans, my better half inquired if I changed something in the setup without out knowing I’d done so. Interesting! I realized a decreased floor noise with increased definition of decay definition of all frequencies top to bottom. Also, overall clarity was improved with no addition of harshness or glare. The improved definition made the sound more relaxed and true to life. So, I guess this makes me a believer in crystals. Furutech crystals at any rate. No disappointments.
