The Reed Muse 1C is the company’s first step into a more traditional design while keeping the commitment to the highest quality and representing their passion for innovations. Shaped with traditional design elements in mind, Reed Muse 1C features a robust, stable, and resonance-free wooden body.

Jaguar uses the 1C Turntable as our reference, primarily because of the idler-drive design, which was common in older turntables from the 50s and 60s, which has been substantially abandoned for the lower-cost belt-drive mechanism. This makes the 1C a unique high-end performer in this price range.

• Consider adding a Reed Tonearm to the 1C. Jaguar uses the Reed 3P as our reference. Reed makes brilliant tonearms that are an excellent value.

A lot of the technologies incorporated into the 1C, including main bearing and drive traction control, are inherited from the flagship Muse 3C. The Muse 1C also features an electronic inclinometer (electronic level dedicated to measuring turntable slope/tilt angle), which allows the user to achieve perfect horizontal alignment without using additional tools.

Muse 1C can be fitted with a center or off-center mount tonearm with effective lengths ranging from 9.5 to 12 inches.
