Stealth Direct-Drive Turntable By Music Hall
The new Stealth turntable is Music Hall’s first direct-drive turntable. It comes equipped with an advanced tonearm and an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. The Stealth is a great performer that delivers a big bang-for-the-buck at the audiophile level.
The Music Hall Stealth is a 3-speed direct-drive turntable that comes complete with an s-shaped tonearm, a detachable headshell, and a factory-mounted, precision-aligned Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.
This substantial 24-pound turntable attenuates external vibrations by utilizing what Michael Fremer notes is “an unusually heavy, multi-layer and well-damped chassis as well as large, viscous-elastomer damped height-adjustable feet and a 4 pound, elastomer-damped… aluminum platter”. “Tap tests”… demonstrated that the Stealth is… extremely “stealthy” and performed better than some turntables costing 3X more.”
The Stealth features touch-activated 33, 45, and 78 RPM speed controls for ease of use. An auto-stop feature turns off the direct-drive motor at the end of a record.
Note: The Stealth is one of the few turntables that comes with a plug-in headshell interface, which allows you to add our Swing Headshell feature, an upgrade to a linear tracking tonearm.

“I can think of no record player under $2000 that I’d rather use. Or recommend.”
“the Stealth is a stylish, well-performing and fine sounding, moderately priced, well-damped and isolated direct drive turntable, the sound of which is limited mainly by your choice of cartridge. It sounds timbrally well-balanced but somewhat harmonically astringent with the supplied $230 Ortofon 2M Blue but consider that observation was made using a system costing more than the average American home.”
